Event Overview:
On August 15th, the NSS Unit of RCCIIT, in collaboration with the IIC cell, celebrated the 77th Independence Day to honour our country’s freedom.
Event Details:
Faculty Coordinator’s Talk: Dr. Sangita Agarwal, Faculty Coordinator of the NSS Student Chapter, also spoke to the attendees.
Start Time & Welcome: The event began at 10:15 a.m. with a welcome to all faculty, staff, and students by the NSS student members.
Hosting & Coordination: Hosted by NSS students, the event was coordinated by Dr. Sangita Agarwal and Ms. Naiwrita Dey.
Flag Hoisting: Mr. Sandip Saha, the Registrar of RCCIIT, hoisted the flag alongside faculty members.
National Anthem: Everyone present sang the national anthem together.
NSS Song: The NSS student members performed the NSS song.
Speeches:
Welcome Address: Mr. Saha delivered the welcome address.
IIC Convener’s Speech: Dr. Debasish Mondal, the IIC convener, gave a speech on the significance of Independence Day.
