Cyber Security Programme – NSS

Objective of the Programme:-

As a part of the monthly campaign of Cyber Jagrookta Diwas initiated by NSS, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India. The NSS Student Chapter of RCCIIT held an awareness program on CYBER SECURITY. The speaker was Mr. Soumen Mukherjee, Associate Professor IT. The event was held on 1^st June 2022 at room no- N210 at 3pm. It is a monthly event that will be held on every 1^st Wednesday of the month. Here not only our faculty members as well as our students can participate to showcase their views on Cyber threats. Next session will be held on 6^th July 2022.

The event on Day 1 was all about introduction to Cyber Security we were told about all kinds of cyber threats, viruses that might attack our network system. Spammed messages that can be harmful for our personal data, account hacking and etc.
