Objective of the Event:
“Har Ghar Tiranga” is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to host it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence and fill the hearts of the fellow countrymen with patriotism. This was a small approach organized for students to explore more about this independence with the different kinds of posters designed by themselves.
Overall layout of the Event:
The event was hosted by Dr. Tathagata Deb, Md Hasanuj Jaman Hossain, Md Saood Khan and Saurabh Kumar Singh. In this programme, the students were asked to submit kinds of digital and handmade posters related to the topic “Har Ghar Tiranga” that is something related to the Independence Day where the students (NSS & non-NSS members) had got the chance to show their creativity and explore more about India’s independence and the sacrifices of the freedom fighters to achieve this independence. The deadline of the online submission was on 8th August in online mode and the
offline hardcopy submission was on 12th August.
On that day, everyone’s posters were shown by themselves in sequential order and a discussion about “Har Ghar Tiranga” was done.
Outcome of the Event:
Through this programme, the organizers as well as the students got to know more about India’s independence and the sacrifices of the freedom fighters to achieve this independence. Also, the students became aware of how to maintain this achieved freedom with the help of social work.
