Objective of the Celebration:
12th august is celebrated as international day all over the world. taking inspiration from the theme of the youth day “INTERGERENATIONAL SOLADARITY: CREATING A WORLD FOR ALL AGES” and to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs), THE NSS UNIT OF RCCIIT organized a short event to create awareness of youth day through speech and presentations. The event was hosted by our NSS student coordinator MD. HASANUJ JAMAN HOSSAIN. The event started by welcoming all our faculty and staff members who attended the event.
Followed by a welcoming and motivational speech by Dr. Tathagata Deb, NSS P.O. After that a group song was performed by the students. Then speech was given by Urbi Chakroborty and a dance performance by Sayantika Bera and Srijana Dey. Accordingly, next speech was given by our principal Anirban Mukherjee. Following that speech by Swastika Bose and a poem by Anamitra Sengupta were delivered. Accordingly, next speech was given by our principal Anirban Mukherjee. Outcome of the Event:
This event was solely dedicated to the role young women and men play in bringing change in tackling global issues and achieving sustainable development. Through this event, we were given an opportunity to acknowledge the challenges and problems facing the world’s youth. NSS events like these helps to Promote Youth Development which explores questions, focusing on essential elements of adolescent well-being and healthy development. It offers recommendations for policy, practice, and research to ensure that programs are well designed to meet young people’s developmental needs.
